about Alan Lazzard. Our first question, John, with the release of Lazzard, do you think he goes

down as the biggest free agent bust in Jets history? And if you missed the news yesterday, Alan Lazzard was released by the New York Jets. It was at his request. Lazzard wants to catch on with a playoff team. So we'll keep our eyes out. I think there's going to be a lot of speculation. He may be joining Aaron Rogers with the Pittsburgh Steelers. I don't think

there's any way you could say the Lizard signing was a success for the New York Jets. By the end of

year one, he was a healthy scratch a couple of times. Year two did not go much better. And in

year three, he was kind of an afterthought. In fact, it's difficult to explain how he was still on the team into December because

the Jets really weren't using him all that much.

He was kind of a role player on a bad offense that did not have a lot of quality at the

wide receiver position.

And as a veteran player, there clearly was no upside.

I don't think you could say Luzard is the biggest free agent bust in Jets history

because he was not supposed to be like a transformational player for the offense.

It did not work out.

It was a very poor value.
