well, the passage before, 2 Peter chapter 1,

verses 3 through 4, it's one of those passages that is so full of powerful meaning, and it's so

full of kind of a sequence of events that we need to follow very carefully. It's probably going to

take us a few days to do this, but let's just begin reading. Speaking of Jesus, Peter says, his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain

to life and godliness. Now, let's stop for a moment. He's talking about Jesus' divine power.
