Not only, you know, you know, out here, World Cup season, I've never paid attention to soccer a day in my life. I did play soccer for seven years when I was in elementary school. Okay. But I scored one goal. I was very bad at it. Well, it doesn't really matter if you were bad back then because you're... Because it's called soccer now. Your country? Exactly. Got a tie.

There had to have been a butterfly effect from that to the U.S. men's national team playing in the World Cup and tying with England.

Imagine if England came over here and they got an actual football team, like a football football, pure blood American football team.

And they came and tied with like the Seahawks. That would be crazy. Zero, zero, nothing happened on the field. They would say they would get to do whatever they want. They would get dunk on us however they want at that point. I'd have to eat beans and toast. They would have been, if they, if that happened, they'd be getting back at us for the Boston Tea Party or whatever. Yeah, whatever. Yeah. Times like this remind me no more than any other time that sports are just a arena for

more culture war for right-wing people.

Because all they have been talking about, at least all I've seen them talking about,

like outside of Americans dunking on the Brits for, you know, winning series.

think some other teams, wore pride flags on their uniforms to protest Qatar and their

treatment of human rights abuses and just general, I don't know, hatred towards LGBTQ people

in general.

They've just been molding over the fact that Americans are wearing pride flags to be inclusive. Like, you would think that if we are going to another country in any kind of event, but especially a sporting event, when so many people are going to see it, we'd want to rep the fact that our country is quote unquote free. Yeah. The fact that, you know, we have freedom and inclusivity and you can do whatever you want in our country.

But when we actually go and do that and we actually hold deep or hold close to our heart, the values that we proclaim back at home, freedom and that kind of thing, they get mad about it. They just grift more culture war things about it. It's just so annoying. Like there are reports that like fans who have like pride gear merchandise are being harassed by the police at guitar and the guards at the stadium. There are also reports that, well not reports. It's just a fact. I can't remember which team it is. I don't watch soccer. But one of the teams has to redesign their uniform because there was I I think, a rainbow on the inside of it.

That's crazy.

Or there was like rainbow detailing on it.

Um, there have been a bunch of like issues with teams wearing rainbow flags with just anything

supporting LGBTQ in guitar because they don't fuck with gay people in Qatar.

It's kind of nuts.

They're very homophobic over there.
