I'm Cody Wersham, digital media reporter, as always.

Joined by Jacob Hester for a postseason recap. Since we last talked, Jacob, things have happened.

I think the last time we talked was the last time we did one together. I sat in on your radio show

before the national championship game, right? I'm trying to get, it's all a blur.

The last podcast we did, we were sitting down in my hotel room in Atlanta before the Oklahoma

games.

Yes.

And then you came on my show before the Clemson matchup.

And that week was so crazy.

It was so wild that we really didn't have time to sit down and do a formal podcast so we had to grab

some stuff from the radio show there and as you know this the end of the season was absolutely

bananas i mean between going to new york and covering the heisman trophy stuff and back-to-back

atlanta trips new orleans trip you went to ath, Ohio as well. So you had that added trip. Yeah. It was something I wouldn't trade for the world, but I need like a seven-day nap. So I said this after the Heisman. It took me a while to come down from the Heisman because it's constant, it's nonstop, and then you reach this emotional high, and then it's just like the next day I crashed. There's a picture of me. I think you've probably seen it that Matt Karen took of, I think we're either at five guys or we're at some store in New York City, and I've crashed. Like I've gone from cloud nine to crashing. And my face my face looks like I don't know like what you would imagine

someone's face looks out like outside of the room where like their spouses just died like

that's what my face looked like I just looked I looked awful and I wasn't the crash this time wasn't

as bad but there was there was a little bit of a crash after you know New Orleans and you enjoy yourself in New Orleans and then you stay up after the game and you do a podcast and you write a story and then you get up the next day. I think I'm recovered now. I think this morning actually, I woke up. It was sunny. It was beautiful. There's baseball media day today. Baseball always kind of brings like a

different joy to the to the world because you're going to be outdoors in the sun. I think today was

the day that I officially turned the page to 2020, which good for you. Yeah. Because I'm still

waiting for that day. It's been a two-week stretch where I've had two radio shows a day.

Yeah, that's rough. Because my guy part-time Peter Burns took a vacation for a couple weeks here after the championship game. And then he comes to the parade that we had here on Saturday. And the guy ends up on Coach O's Flood. I saw that. That's just the way Peter Burns rolls up. I saw that. I'm hoping that tomorrow, first time I hadn't had to set an alarm clock since about August 15th.
