Okay, about three years ago, I was in Kabul, Mexico, and we were walking somebody through a

$25 million deal, and that deal, that that person, that would have changed their entire life,

fell apart, not because of something that someone did, not because of some external force,

but because that person wasn't able to manage their feelings.

It was not the market. There was no competition that came in. Like, there was no external force.

It wasn't like the firm suddenly changed their mind. It was like literally one person's inability to

separate what they felt from how they acted, right? And I would even say how they felt from the

values that they explained to me

that they had when I met that person. And so before you think, okay, this whole episode's about

somebody else and this deal that Layla did, no, this episode is about you. It's about me. It's about

the fact that we often let feelings get in the way of the things that we really want in life,
