Join, as always my host, Nick, Philado. Tonight, Nick, before the show, all day today, I was wearing a green South Food and Field Club shirt.

And because of all the haters in the comments, not the haters, the jokesters in the comments, but always comment when I wear a green shirt that I'm an Eagles fan or whatever. I had to change my shirt just to make sure I wasn't wearing anything green. So I brought on gray. I was blue, Giants blue last night. It didn't work out. So I felt like I had to switch it up, Nick, but so you want the Cowboys Gray? Oh, God. I didn't even think about that.

I mean, Cowboys are more silver to Cowboys Gray? Oh, God. I didn't even think about that.

I mean, Cowboys are more silver to me than Gray, I would say, but it's not a great look. And neither was last night. And neither was the game tape on the New York Football Giants from the 2023, week one debut. And that's what we're going over tonight. We're doing an offensive film breakdown. things are going to be a little bit different than they were last year for this podcast.

We won't no longer be for a multitude of reasons, mostly because the NFL won't let us. We will no longer be putting the entire game of all 22 up on here and breaking down play by play. What we do plan to do this year is talk more overall concepts. Talk about the coaching in each game.

Talk about the execution and the personnel in each game.

And we're also going to break down certain plays.

So there will still be film on this.

I know a lot of you have actually said to me you like the old format better I've had

probably last year I had 20 different people reach out to me because quite frankly you don't have time to watch on YouTube and you want to listen on your podcast while you're driving. And I agree. Last year's version of the film was not a very listenable type of thing. It was more watchable type of thing. Well, the goal for this one is to be listenable and watchable at the same time. So without further ado, Nick, I wanted to get that preamble in to set the stage. How are you doing today? And where do you want to start? I woke up early to watch this all 22. And I got to say, we'll go over the first drive because I found the first drive to be very interesting, not just because it was the only respectable football, the New York Giants offense put out there on film,

but you could see the chess match between the Giants and Dan Quinn and that defense.

And the Giants were winning it for much of it.

And then that cascading effect that we discussed on yesterday's podcast really struck the Giants

when it was third and two when Andrew Thomas committed a false start that led to a bad snap

that led to a blocked field

goal for a touchdown. But before that, there were several interesting wrinkles and plays that I felt

like Daniel Jones was making with his legs and his decision making to put to force Dan Quinn
