We're starting this meeting a little bit early, everybody's waiting around just waiting

for the meeting to start and the sufficient of us to keep it going for the extra time

anyhow.

So why not?

And that's good to see you all here this evening.

I'll just read out the pre-amble of alcoholic synonymous.

Alcoholics synonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength

and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover

from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

There are no Jews or thieves for AA membership.

We are self-supporting through our own contributions.

AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.

There's no wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor appauses any causes.

Our primary purpose is to stay sober and to help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
