Hello and welcome to Amen podcast today. Alex is preaching about God's word makes you alive.

But what is it that makes us really truly alive in Christ? We're going to talk about that

because God's word is constantly needing to revive us and give us strength. The word says that

man does not live on bread but but but on the word of God. So this week we went to the beach and

we were adventuring around and I hear Amos say look I found some I found a fish and we were on

the other side of this little bridge and it was low tide. So all the water had been brought out

of this little area and this fish and a bunch of other fish had been moored in this little

tiny little pond and this fish was really big. I don't know what kind of fish it was but

I was like there's no way it's a big fish in here but I come up to him and this little fish is like

swimming in shallow water so DPS to swim sideways like he has to he's on his flat side like swimming

like weirdly because he's trying to stay shallow and if he's standing swims upright he'll just like

get crashed into beach wrecked into the beach into the sand and so we're like okay we're

going to catch it we're going to eat it you know uh their grandpa knows a lot about fish so we'll

take it home and we'll put it on the grill and so we start trying to catch it. It like

swims so fast we're like okay we got to chase it down and then block it so we all block it

to this one area and then it swims under a rock and it stays there and we can still see the tail

it's so big and I was like okay the stick is not working they pick it up so I know what I'll do

I'll go get my machete and we'll take it and we'll eat it at home so I run to my truck I was

like guys stay here watch a little brother so there it's over there I run like a hundred yards

to my car get the machete and I come back and I'm like okay I'm ready and lion had

lifted up the rock and it swam away so they had lost it again they're like oh man so we start

looking all over then we find a fish that's smaller and it was in a very little small pocket of
