I just sneezed heartily twice before turning on the mic and I thought, well this will be interesting

because I'll be a little more nasal sounding than normal.

I sound like I have a cold.

This is no good.

If I were a better podcaster, I nearly choked on those words as they came out of my mouth.

I'm going to take your questions and I, this is the second week in a row now that I'm doing this solo podcast.

My guest last week had to, she was moving and she had to reschedule, she's coming on next week.

And then my guest this week, the yesterday, I got an email from our publicist saying that she had come down with a nasty cold flu

and didn't want to get me an Elliott SICK, which I appreciate.

So I thought, well, I could scramble and try to get another guest in, but it's going to be hard to find someone.

And also, if it's last minute, I'm not going to have time to research them adequately.

And just lately, it happened that I had someone on that I didn't have time to research.

And now that I'm going back and reading her book, I'm like, fuck, I think I messed up that interview.
