To the end of the 1950s, it seemed everyone in Hollywood was trying their hand at making

an alien invasion movie. Perhaps the most infamous example of this was a film written, produced

and directed by Edward D. Wood Jr., aka Edward. Edward had previously made a low-budget

documentary about cross-dressing called Glen or Glenda. This movie was incredibly poorly

received and even at the time was dubbed one of the worst movies ever made. But Edward

didn't let this dishearten him. With the help of a group of close friends and collaborators,

including Swedish wrestler Tor Johnson, late-night TV host Vampire, TV psychic, the amazing

Krizwell and, most importantly, horror veteran Bella Legosi, Edward went on to make another

film. The film that, in his words, people would remember him by. An epic sci-fi horror adventure

movie with aliens, vampires, action, romance, even some political commentary. What could
