For almost two years, he's been then missing now.

I have recurring dreams that I found him, but that he runs away. That I can't ever catch up to him.

I don't know about other parents, but he's constantly on my mind. And when he's not on my mind, something little triggers and he's white-darrigate.

And with his siblings, of course, to see them hurt just absolutely kills me to know that they're hurting as much if not more than I am.

I'm an old guy. I'll open my mouth and say how I feel. My children aren't the same place.

So when they vocalize the feeling of missing knowledge, it's very, very emotional moment.

And there's, you know, there's nothing you can say. I can say, well, I know how you're feeling. I miss him as much as you do if not more.

But those are actually hollow words. It's a money that knows that their sibling is missing under specific senses.

And they most likely will never see them again.

On June 14, 2021, 28-year-old Alex Harris left his father's home in Sierra Vista, Arizona, with a friend.

The two were planning to go to a remote part of the Arizona desert near the city of Safford.

The story was that he was going out geocaching with a friend. But something went terribly wrong. And Alex refused to get in the car and come back home.

When this friend showed up at Alex's dad's apartment two days later, he told him that he had left Alex out in the desert and that he didn't have a cell signal to call Alex's dad or authorities.

None of it made sense. No one knew this friend that Alex had been out with well.

And Alex's dad tried to find out where Alex was so that he could go get him. But the friend fled and is now incarcerated on unrelated charges.
