I've known Xander Armstrong, because if you know Alexander Armstrong, you don't call him Alexander.

You call him Xander. I've known Xander for a long time, and I was so pleased when he came into the studio to talk with me.

We talked about all sorts. I mean, one of the things that came up was how he's kind of drifted from comedy into presenting.

And I've loved his comedic stuff from, you know, Armstrong and Miller, obviously. But then to little

things like, you know, what he did in Hunderby, Julia Davis's brilliant show. And what he did in Saxondale, he plays this kind of Jeremy Clarkson character,

and the great podcast, which I suppose is still out there that he and Ben Miller did, where they

play rather pretentious, very modern critics. Check that out. We talk about it in the podcast.
