For those of you who don't know about it,

Broadway Backstory is a documentary-style podcast

that we're making in partnership with the amazing people at Today Ticks.

Each episode of Broadway Backstory finds out how a show developed from an

idea to a full Broadway production by getting the stories from the people who lived it.

The first two episodes tell the incredible true backstory of In The Heights and features interviews

with Lynn Manuel Miranda, Miranda, director Tommy Kale, Alex Lackamore, and a whole bunch of other fabulous and fascinating people.

Episode three tells the backstory of Fun Home, episode four tells the backstory of the 90s classic The Secret Garden, and episode five tells the backstory of the 25th annual Putnam County's Spelling Bee.

And after the holidays, we'll be back with the last three episodes of season one,

which gets the backstories of the Deaf West production of Spring Awakening,

legally blonde, and next to normal.

I am obsessed with this podcast, you guys.
