We've talked about this before, but I was obsessed with football as a kid.

I still like football, but not nearly as much. Who cares? It's great to say who cares eight seconds since the podcast.

I was correcting myself. Okay. Our mother was, I would say, overprotective,

but she did let me go sign up for Little League football, which is called Pop Warner.

All my friends were there and I'm so excited. I was gonna get to wear the pads and be a football player. And

so she walks me up to the coach. All the kids are there and

she says now I just want to make sure his head is protected and the coach was like,

I have a real like classic Little League coach dad was like, oh, yes, ma'am.

We got that head and the face mask and okay, what about his neck and oh,

there's an optional neck guard. Oh, I want him to have that okay.

Well, and she went from head to toe throughout all the pads and what about the shoulders?

We have shoulder pads and elbow. Yeah, you can get elbow pads and she seemed satisfied.

So she started to walk away and then she stopped and she doubled back around and she goes, oh, I'm sorry.

And this is two hand touch football, right?

It's all right. Yeah, I'll never forget the point is she pulled me out of it back to the car and thus ended your

various very promising career my high-peer-bub player any Heisman potential I had

said for fans of football life could be a dream life could be a dream
