0:11.5	been hunting together for a lot of years now.
0:14.0	Today we kind of want to relive a moose hunt we did in Alaska.
0:20.0	Do it yourself, drop camp moose hunt where we went in for 10 days and ended up
0:26.9	Encountering some really good bulls. Welcome to the show Neil. I really appreciate you taking the time to sit down with me today.
0:34.0	Yeah, we've certainly had some pretty good adventures over the years, but that Moose Line is going to be tough to beat, definitely tough.
0:41.0	Yeah, it may be the best of all the backcountry on your own type
0:47.8	hunts I've done in my life and that's saying something. Yeah, absolutely.
0:52.1	It was brutally hard. It was really challenging and just so
0:57.0	rewarding like most really challenging hunts are. We're going to talk about how to do a hunt like this. We're going to talk about our equipment
1:06.4	choices. We're going to talk about some things that worked for us and some things that didn't.
1:10.2	We made some mistakes. But in the the end we pulled it off and ended up with a great result.
1:17.6	So this whole thing kind of kicked off in, oh geez about about 2015. I've been wanting to hunt moose,
1:25.0	fly in with a bush plane and hunt moose somewhere,
1:29.1	or do a float trip, and Neil and I started talking
1:31.9	and we decided we were getting too old to delay any longer and we needed to put a plan into action.
1:38.0	So we started researching and Neil started looking into gear and some other logistical type things and I
1:47.6	started looking for a Bush pilot who was willing to take us in and drop us off in a good place.
1:55.0	So we learned a few things pretty quickly.
1:58.0	10 days is about the minimum that two guys can go in and expect for both of them to actually have a
