We first had today weather anchor Al Roker on food in 2022, an episode aptly titled The Joyful Anomily, because Al is known for and loved for his cheerfulness. Now he has a new book called Al Roker's Recipes

to Live by, and it was written with his daughter, Courtney Roker Laga, a trained chef and

recipe developer who painstakingly went through her family's recipes and recreated them with all

the knowledge she gleaned from relatives. Mark and Al have a

special relationship. Mark's been on the Today Show a lot over the years, so we were happy to invite

Al to come back on the show, but having his daughter on with him for obvious reasons added so

much for us. Her playful ribbing of her dad and his responses are extremely familiar to me.
