Okay, so the Republican National Convention.

If you don't watch Fox News, the RNC was basically a four-day window into the dystopian fever

dream that is Fox News prime time. It is some combination of outright lying, coupled with

just a relentless barrage of fear porn. Now, as far as the lies go,

here are a few of the major ones. We were told that Joe Biden is going to abolish the suburbs,

which isn't true because what does that even mean? That he's going to revoke the Second Amendment,

which again is absurd. Democrats are largely united behind an assault weapons ban,

just like the one that happened in the 90s, and somehow miraculously the Second Amendment is still

there. Democrats are also pushing for universal background checks, which again is not going to abolish

the Second Amendment. They said Joe Biden supports executing babies until the moment of birth,

which is insane and clearly not his position, that he would tear down the border wall. He never

said any such thing, only that he wouldn't add to it, that he wants to defund the police. That's not

true. In fact, Biden wrote an op-ed in USA today on June 10 saying, while I do not believe
