On this episode of Skeptico, a show about going away.

There you are. We were wondering when did show up.

And a show about when to come back.

We can't make everyone aware.

The default is everybody's sleeping and now I'm going to try to wake up as much as I can.

And if I meet others on my journey who also seek that or has some ability to do that

or has shown to do that to some extent, I'm going to hitch

my wagon to that person as long as that's useful for both of us.

That first clip was from the wonderful Christmas movie, Shutter Island.

And the second was from today's guest, the one and only Al Borealis from Forum Borealis, who joined me, or I should

say I joined him to talk about 2022 year in review for both Skeptico and for Forum Borealis.

Now, as some of you may have noticed, I have taken a step back from the mic on Skeptico.

I haven't done episodes in a couple of months.

So it was really great to get back in touch with Al and to talk about the year in review

and the reasons why I step back and some of my thoughts on when and if I should continue

and in what form I should do so. So I enjoyed the chat. It did bring up some stuff for me

as I continue to work out and figure out where I want to go, a process which I would really,

really appreciate you all joining me and telling me what direction you think this show should

go in.

It is my personal journey, but it's shared with you, so I'd like to know your thoughts on it.
