I'm just overwhelmed, you know, it's just such a wonderful deal.

You know, it's always kind of sucky being the only Allen on speaker at an AA conference.

I liken it to be in the corpse at an Irish wake.

Nobody expects you to say much, but they can't have the party without you, you know.

So you're like the token, dude, you got to be there and, but you have such fabulous

speakers this weekend, which is also very intimidating and people that I love and, and

Gail and Sterling can and then Larry last night, you know, just to tremendous, wonderful,

you know, conference lineup you have and, you know, they say a good conference is like

a good orgy.

When it's all over, you don't remember who it was that made you feel good.

So, and hopefully that's what you have going on here.

So, and it's good to laugh, you know, it's good to have fun.

It's good to be with friends, you know, and all those things, none of those things was

I looking for when I walked into these rooms at all.

I just wanted everybody to be quiet and do what I said.

And that's still, sometimes I still think that's a good plan, but it's not, it's not

God's plan for me.
