I told Betty, I said, you know, I don't know about this stand.

I said, you know, I'm kind of short.

I'm real tall on the inside, but I thought all of you're going to be, I'm looking at me, you know, you're going to just see my eyes.

My name is Anne Marie, and I'm a grateful member of this worldwide fellowship.

The only reason why I am in Texas today is because I said yes.

Someone asked me and came to my home group in Culver City, and they asked me if I would be a speaker.

And I said yes.

And I went to this Al-Anon convention, and I met Kay.

And Kay came up to me, and she said, you know,

would you come and speak at our meeting?

And I said, yes.

And then Kay graciously sent my tape to Betty,

and Betty called me up.

And she said, well, hi, my name is Betty.

And I went, I said, hi, Betty, I'm Ann Marie.

She said, boy, I want to know if you would like to speak
