I am a writer. I wrote a book called The Year of Living Biblically. I wrote one about, called

the Know It All where I read the Encyclopedia, dropped that healthy, tried

to be the healthiest man alive.

Wrote a piece that I've thought about a lot of my life and then did further reading which was a piece about radical honesty.

Oh, I love it and I love to talk to you about that.

Sam Harris's book I thought took it even further.

Yeah. Um, which is called Lying. Did Did you read lying? Because that was written what five years after your piece or something like that?

To be radically honest, I read like half of lying. Uh, and I planned to read it. I thought it was good. I just got distracted. And I'm on his

podcast coming up so I'll have to confess. Oh you got well no no you don't have to

confess A. You just read the, finish it before you go in,

then you'll save the whole confession thing.

Because he poses a question, I mean you did this experiment,

just quickly say what you did.

Well, the idea, but, yeah, the idea is that there's a psychologist in Virginia who believes that we should never

lie, but he goes farther than that.

He says whatever's on your brain should come out of your mouth.

So like if you're looking at your

wife's sister and you have to say oh I'm fantasizing about having sex with you now.

So it is in one sense it was the worst best month of my life.
