So as you can tell by the title, today we are talking about the solved murder of A.J. Hadsel.

So let's get right on into it today.

Angelica Hadsel, also known as AJ, was born on August 9th of 1996 in Chesapeake, Virginia to her mom Jennifer Wright.

A.J grew up as the oldest out of her siblings

and grew up in the town of Norfolk, Virginia,

which if Norfolk sounds familiar, it is because it is where Liz Sullivan, our case from two weeks ago, was also from as well.

Now at the time of this case, A.J. was a freshman in college attending Longwood University where she excelled playing softball and field hockey.

While she was at Longwood, she loved spending her time umpiring for different little league teams and also loved volunteering for different charities when she wasn't hanging out with her family or her friends. A.J. was known as being

outgoing and motivated and very driven. She had dreams and hoped to graduate with a

double major in just three years. Now growing up a

jay never had a relationship with her biological father she was raised by a single

mother her mom Jennifer up until she was about a year and a half when she met her first

stepfather, a man named Zach. Now, Zach and Jennifer were married for about seven years
