I am bringing back an old episode this week for a few reasons.

First of all, I think it's one of the best episodes of this podcast so far.

It was early on at the beginning a year ago and because so many of you are new to this podcast

and there are so many to go back through,

I wanted to make sure you hear this episode because it's so funny.

It's so special. It's so full of heart and I could not be more in love with this guest.

She's just so surprising.

Throughout this next hour, she weaves through just so seamlessly through really, really serious issues

to really, really silly issues to funny issues and she takes on all these different characters

but then also comes right back to herself and shows us her purest and raw self.

I'm talking about the comedian, the writer, the BAFTA award-winning actor that is Ashling B.

She is such a joy and someone I feel so grateful to have in my life.

And we talk a lot about loneliness in this episode and obviously we know that that's something

that so many people have struggled with in the last year but it's been in the news this week.

How detrimental loneliness can be for your, not just your mental health but your physical health

to the point where there are people being appointed in governments around the world

is the minister of loneliness.

That's literally some people's titles because this is such a, it's kind of becoming its own pandemic.

And so I'm obsessed with destigmatizing issues that normally we have been

for no good reason shamed out of discussing.

And I think humour is a really amazing way to do that and the way that Ashling discusses
