So I actually came to an airlift Tanker Association to look for a dog.

And I was an AMC navigator at the time and they were getting rid of navigators from their aircraft.

And so they kind of said, said hey we don't really know what to do

it you should probably go try to look for a job which is a scary it's very

proposition you come to the conference they're like hey not saying that you don't have a job, but

just start looking.

Yeah, like, I know we should be helping you with this, but like,

this is a young captain at that time.

I was a young captain.

Okay, yeah, she's about right. Yep, I guess a little older. I felt young at least. But so I came to ATA. My husband and I were dual milk. He's a pilot. I'm a nav, and we had flown different planes.

So we were trying to get to the same aircraft,

or at least the same base, so we could keep living together.

So we came to ATA and sat down, kind of walked around. I was looking at CRD or CRW opportunities because

I was like a lot of knabs seemed to go that way. We ended up at the ATA banquet.

We're sitting next to this guy, had like a glass or two a wine, we're

BSing, you know. A couple of bowls a loud mouth soup. It really just like smooths

everything over and really good

it helps get you to where you need to be.
