Welcome to the Ralph Nader Radio Hour.

We're coming to you this week from Washington, DC. I'm Steve Scrovan, along with my co-host David Feldman.

And each week we sit at Ralph Nader's feet and ask him about the state of America and what we should do about it.

Actually, we're not really at your feet, where we're sitting upright in a dignified position.

But this is the first time, this is kind of a red letter de-fres, David, the first time we're all in the same room.

We're usually in different cities, so this is going to be fun.

We have a special guest today as we're at Public Citizen. The President of Public Citizen is joining us.

Mr. Robert Weisman, I want to start by having Ralph and Rob talk a little bit about your history because Rob, you good Harvard graduate, lawyer, you come to DC and you say hey how can I not make any money and you

and you start working for Ralph right, I started with Ralph before that.

I started while I was still in college.

I took a year off to work on a project called Harvard Watch

because I thought I shouldn't wait until I graduated

to not make any money.

What were you watching at Harvard?

There was a variety of things, but the core of it was to look at university industry

relationships.

And so it was an interesting time.

It was a lot of things that are now seriously in place
