Robotics, much in the news when you read

the London media, that would be the FT.com, the pink newspaper, or the American media, especially

Barron's. Barons likes robotics. The Wall Street Journal looks at it from 20,000 feet. Right now,

however, I'm reading headlines out of the

electronic show in Las Vegas, an annual event where the high end shows off for the rest of the

high end. And the CEO of the darling company of the future, NVIDIA,

Jensen Wong, is making a presentation about how NVIDIA is moving to robotics,

no longer satisfied dominating the chipmaking world of standalones. They're looking to the future and a trillion-dollar business, says Jensen Wong. Now,

that's a lot of marketing, so I need Chris's help. He's attended these events in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas is excited to talk about new things. They've got the sphere. It's new. They've got F-F Formula One

racing that's new. They've got a baseball team from Oakland that's coming in a few years. That's new.

The robotics at the CES this year, were they new? Was there an atmosphere of change? Because
