I'm Mitchell Hora. My co-host, Zach Johnson, is in the fields here today. He's planting. I got some rain. So you're stuck with me here for today's special episode amidst a global pandemic dealing here with COVID-19. Agriculture is one of the many parts of the economy that is really

feeling the pain. You know, we've heard about dairy farmers dumping milk because of schools and

food service being shut down and the infrastructure just isn't in place to move that supply

through the grocery stores to the consumer. Corn prices are in a really tough spot because oil prices have

tanked and that's directly impacting ethanol of course. Meat packing plants are really struggling

with workers being sick from COVID-19. So new packing plants shutting down. Other ones coming back

on board. Now we're all just wondering what is next.
