What COVID has forced asking the question about is, is the mere process of touching and interacting with thousands of things, you know, physical objects and then hundreds and hundreds of people?

Is that by itself a materially unsafe thing to do?

My gut would be, yes.

We've had a little glimmer of light here in California this week.

The governor has just announced a roadmap, if you will, to get back to normal, whatever that normal looks like.

Now, six things that need to happen or goals that need to be met.

We haven't met any of them.

But even talking about a path or charting a path out of this bizarre world we're living in, bizarre scary time, it's encouraging.

But for now, we remain on lockdown and we soldier on.

And in that spirit, I wanted to talk about robots.

Yes, on the program, we have Damien Shelton.

He is the founder of Agility Robotics.

It's a company based in Oregon that makes humanoid robots that can pick up a box, walk up

your steps, drop it off

at your door, and then fold back up into a little square like a transformer and put itself

back in the trunk of your car or your boot if you're in England. It sounds wild, but it's real.
