0:50.9	new movie coming out which is a bit of a departure for you. You have so many excellent books.
0:56.0	In fact, first of all, maybe you should tell us about your new book on artificial intelligence.
1:02.3	My new book is called 2084.
1:05.0	It's a take off from George Orwell.
1:09.0	And it's really quite amusing because the title was suggested by none other than Peter Atkins, the famous
1:16.5	atheist professor of chemistry at Oxford.
1:20.1	We were going to a debate which is online actually where he was very opposed to me but in the car he said we're not going to talk about the debate what are you writing so I told him and he said I've got a title for you. I said what's that? He said 2084. Well I said Peter that's
1:38.9	brilliant if I use it I will acknowledge you and I've done that. Excellent. I've had had a very spirited debate with Peter myself on your BBC
1:49.0	Radio 4 at one point but that's that's terrific so even our opposite numbers can be can can
1:57.3	add something to our work so that's absolutely because it just captured the spirit of what I want to do talk about the
2:07.1	both the AI that's working at the moment narrow AI it's pros and cons, and to try to get people to see that they don't have to be afraid of everything,
2:18.7	but there are huge ethical issues, and then to talk about the more speculative stuff, artificial general intelligence.
2:26.9	So I'm very pleased to see that there's been a huge response around the world in terms of interest and I
2:34.0	done dozens of Zoom calls and interviews about it.
