Tucked into his speech was a plea to support his bipartisan infrastructure bill, now pending

before Congress. We need to think big and bold. That's why I'm pushing for a once-in-the-generation

investment in our infrastructure and our people with my infrastructure bill and my Build Back Better Act.

The Build Back Better Act is part of Biden's broader Build Back Better agenda, also referred to as

the reconciliation bill. Since the act is opposed by Republicans, Democrats are using the

reconciliation process that requires full support from every Senate Democrat to get it through.
