Welcome to The Wallet Show Aftercast, all the stuff we did not get to during the course of the show today.

It is Monday.

We are back live after a Christmas break.

And boy, howdy, I had to tell you, it felt so good for me personally.

I needed that time I was getting kind of chippy and crispy.

And I unplugged for the first time.

My wife was pretty floored.

I didn't start working on things till Saturday of this last week.

And I started working on a few new things.

I was writing down ideas for different topics, which we'll be talking about in the next

a couple days.

But yeah, I really did unplug.

Because that's typically why my wife liked to go on cruises

because we never got the internet package.

And so I was completely focused and not on work.

And so, oh yeah, it did.

Honestly, it felt good.

And it's weird that it's taking me, what, 33 years of doing this dumb job

to realize that. That in doing that, I came back better, you know, to, you know, because I used to think, oh, I'm, I'm working on vacation. And so that's honorable. But then it's like, yeah, but then you come back and you're still burnt out, you know, and so that's not healthy for anybody. And so, Yeah, I learned a little, a little lesson there. See, he's not too old to learn something new. Not this old dog. I told you, Gavin. I know. Well, let's talk about this because we're just kind of getting back together, too. Like, the only conversations Gavin, Betty and I had on this break really were sending TikToks back and forth

for things. I was sending TikToks. Yeah. And I was not getting responses. And it was driving

him nuts. I know. It's not personal. I didn't respond to all the Betty's either. Like a lot of

times too, if somebody, one of us sends a TikTok and one person respond. It's kind of like...
