Welcome to the Wally Show Aftercast, all the stuff we did not get to during the course of the show today.

We are back. We were out for vacation. Betty Rock and I both took some time off.

Did very different things.

Yes, we did, actually. Yeah. Both. Well, yours was expected. Mine was not expected.

I think I had shared in the Aftercast before we had taken vacation. I said, I didn't

really have any plans, but it turns out God had plans for me because a friend of mine, her

husband had to go into the ER and they have three little boys under five. And so, and they don't

have any family around. So I went over there and I watched those kids pretty much every day. I saw one picture that you had posted and it was like two or three. It was either all three or two. I couldn't tell. And then there was just like toys and just stuff everywhere. Because it was raining outside. And they live in an apartment. And it's like, where do you take them? And I don't have their car seats. So it's just like, we got to just make do with this little living room. Man, I mean, I remember what it was like when you have a kid, like they have so much stuff everywhere. And it's just, and they'll play one game and then they can play something else and something else. And it's just, it can be anarchy. You know, Bluey was our best friend. Yeah. Like, we would turn on some Bluey.

They loved that. And I would say they were easy to please with YouTube videos and things, like the older ones. The baby, he took like a three-hour nap every day. Yeah. I used to love when parents, like new parents to be like, oh no, we are not doing screens for my child.

We are not.

Like, I'm going to be an involved parent and like, yeah, okay, let me know how that goes.

Let me know how many iPads you end up buying because like there's a moment.

And no judgment here.

None, no, I'm just saying be honest about it.

Like there is a moment where you make that decision, like, okay, I'm letting the TV raise my kid today.

And, like, I would park Haley down in front of VHS tapes of Disney sing-alongs, walking right down the middle of Main Street, USA.

And if anything, it backfired on Wally in that she expected him to pay her Disney access pass.

Yeah.

So that's the only thing that was bad for you.

Yeah.

And so it was like, like I get it.
