of that storm that's where we assume we will feel it the most because we are in a reactive state. Life is crumbling. Maybe we're going through a

breakup. Maybe we lost a job. Maybe we've lost a family member or a friend. Maybe a natural disaster

destroyed our home or maybe a psychoass coworker goes on a full-fledged attack against us at work.

Whatever the storm is offering, we feel it in that moment. Anxiety rises, worry takes over.

All of our senses are hijacked, and we scan our environment for the nearest exit, the way out, the way through.

And then we find it.

The storm starts to settle and the immediate threat

or danger seems to be gone, you know? Anxiety is decreasing. It still lingers because we're worried

that another storm may come, but we feel we can bring our guard down just a little bit. And it

seems like, ah, our prayers are answered. Thank God,

that storm is over. Then we close our eyes. We take a deep breath. We feel relief, knowing that

tomorrow is the beginning of a new day. And when we open our eyes, ready for a fresh start, a new

chapter, a beautiful new journey we

realize we are met with all the debris that life has left behind all the pieces of our lives

scattered around us waiting for us to pick them back up and this is where the real journey begins. The journey to heal ourselves,

to heal our nerves, the journey of rebuilding our self-worth after a soul-crushing relationship,

the journey to rediscover confidence after watching success slipped through our hands,

the journey of trying to find our joy again

when the storm took all of it away.

All that debris is just lying there in our minds, in our hearts, and in our spirits.

And it's nobody's responsibilities but ours to pick it back up.
