Episode 6.

Come on, said Terry. We have to go. They'll be after us sooner than you think.

Camilla nodded. I know. She turned and followed him through the fire doors. Once they were through, he stopped. He started

unhooking something from around his waist and Camilla took a step back, raising the flashlight

defensively, but she relaxed when she saw that it was only a short bungee cord.

He knelt down and hooked one end of the cord onto a loop wall fixing just above ankle level

on the door frame.

She recognized it as being the same as the one that she'd noticed in the corridor upstairs.

What is that?

She asked.

He took hold of the other end of the cord and stretched it across the doorway to hook onto another fastening on the opposite side.

Then he plucked the tort cord like a bass guitar string.

Tripwire, he said, fucks him ride up.

Then he was off and leading her down the corridor again.

She followed and he led her down to another set of double doors.

Painted on them in large letters was the phrase,

Fire Exit, Keep Clear.

He pushed down on the crash bars and opened the doors to the cool night air. Once they were both outside, he swung the doors back home, just as the first thud of a falling body resonated down the hall.

The tripwire had claimed its first victim.
