And today's story is Woe Nelly.

Woe Nelly indeed, Todd.

Today's story is that of Noah and his vineyard.

It comes from Genesis chapter 9.

This is one that you probably didn't learn in Sunday school.

So we're going to jump in, and of labeled scene one, water water everywhere,

and Noah's gonna drink. Most of us are familiar with the story of Noah in the global flood.

Today's story is presented immediately after the resolution of the flood in Genesis chapter 9.

So Noah and his family descend from the ark and begin to jump

start mankind once more. They got to rebuild, Todd. This has been a global disaster, like the way that we

all had to find, you know, some way in our lives to rebuild after the cancellation of diagnosis

murder. That is the one death that he didn't see coming.

Yeah. Well, while building this new life, Noah becomes a farmer. And what does the Bible report that he plants? Is it beats? Is it corn? No, it is a vineyard. But instead of turning those

grapes into non-alcoholic communing grape juice available at any fine

Lifeway bookstore in case you're wondering. Noah makes wine. And I have to imagine Todd,

with the resources he had, this is like not fancy. This is like prison toilet wine is what I'm

imagining. Yep. There's Noah. He is, you know, filling ingredients in his toilet to produce his own blend.

And you know what? Noah is not just the president of this vineyard. He's also a member.
