welcome to After the Fact. Thanks for joining us. Thanks for having me, Kyle. I'm excited to be here.

Hey, here's our big question for today. What is one blessing and one burden that technology provides on the journey of spiritual formation?

Yeah, man, I'm excited for this question. It's a great question. It's one that a lot of people

are asking, even if they don't know that language of spiritual formation. And it's one that a lot of people are trying to answer

in different sorts of ways. So I was thinking about the best way I could come at this.

And so, you know, when I think of spiritual formation, I'm not just thinking about one small

sliver of our lives, right? Just being pious or something, being a little more moral.

Spiritual formation is our formation into the image of Christ, who is fully human. And I think of

Colossians 3 when it says, you know, we're being renewed in knowledge after the image of our

creator. And then I think back to Genesis 1, which says we're made in the image of God. And so

our souls and our bodies, too, all of us on a journey to a glorified human nature like Christ.
