Hello, welcome back to After Reality. It's your host Courtney Robertson here. How's everybody doing?

It's Halloween week. Can you believe it? The costumes, the candy, the chaos, oh, the sugar crashes.

It's all happening. And I'm getting into the season over here and I'm trying to decide, are we doing a holiday card this year?

That's right.

It's that time of year when you got to start booking photographers. They are not cheap.

But last year we did our own little iPhone photo shoot and honestly it turned out pretty cute.

Hiring a photographer these days, it's expensive, stressful, so I'm torn. Do we skip it or do we do it ourselves again? I'm thinking about like when the kids are at their happiest. It's stressful.

Family photos, are they really worth it? I don't know. We've also been in full on fall refresh

mode around the house. I've been planting new flowers, brings me joy.

My dad's actually coming over later today. We're going to plant something. If you follow along

on Instagram, you can see something I grew up with. I just gave our bathroom a little

facelift. I went to home goods and I was proud of myself. I made it out of there with exactly

what I went in for.

A new bathroom rug, towels, and it's still a work in progress.

So I'm like, do I paint the bathroom?

TBD.

But I don't know.

I'm just trying to get a fresh feel around the house right before the holidays hit.

I think now is a good time to do that.

on the family front let's just say it's been a meltdown season we had a couple family we had a

family gathering this weekend and a birthday party. I stayed back for the
