training camp is officially over. And unfortunately, it ended with some pretty bad news for a young Eagles wide receiver.

But let's start with the hard news, Adam. It's a very unfortunate occurrence. I was right there.

I saw it happen. Johnny Wilson got his, got tangled up with bread toth on a play. And the way he came off the field,

he could barely put any weight on that ankle, on that lower leg area. And it turns out he's going

to need surgery on his ankle and his knee. That's pretty rough. And he's going to be out for the

year. There is no doubt about it out. If he was going to be a lock to make the 53 for not only his contributions on offense,

but also special teams and his role as the lunch pail, dirty work blocking receiver

that was started a couple of years ago by Zach Pascall.

But Johnny Wilson even brought a new element to it.

And he really did improve throughout the camp.

So it's really just unfortunate to see this happen.

Yeah, he got off to a very slow start.

A very slow start.

Effort needed to be a little bit better.
