Welcome to a special edition of Full Measure After Hours.

Today as we move into the heat of summer we talk about what the

full measure team is doing all summer and what's ahead in season 10 coming soon. We are just beginning to get into the real heat of summer and already so much news is happening. Today a few

reflections on all of it let's start with the first presidential debate. Wow some of

you may have followed along and joined me as I live

tweeted during the debate and pretty early on it was apparent this was going to be a

huge disaster for the sitting President Joe Biden.

He froze up almost at the beginning, lost his train of thought, misspoke, but also he said

a lot of things that weren't true.

And as I noted in my sub-stack article at the Cheryl Agison sub-stack,

like all of my information sources. As I wrote there, it's easy to find

fact checks that include Donald Trump's supposed mistakes and lies. That's always been job one for the media.

But less easy to find is a concise summary of the things that Joe Biden said that were wrong.

So on my sub-stack I listed nine top whoppers that Joe Biden told in the first presidential

debate.

Several of the examples were regurgitation of disproven narratives and talking point lines,

some of them several years old, that I guess the president's folks who were briefing

him dredged up, even though again they've proven to be

untrue and a lot of people in the media were saying well Biden wasn't sharp
