So we're going to talk about your book. It's called Rekindled, Healing Grief Through the Science and Experience of After Death Communication.

But before we get into that, I just wanted to ask you about your podcast. It's Domino Effect of Murder. So can you tell us about that?

I was trying to fill a gap in podcast by having that show. It is a forum primarily for people

who have suffered a loss of somebody close to them. It need not be a relative, but

somebody close to them because of homicide. And I wanted to give them a forum to speak about

their experiences because it's kind of an absence. It doesn't fall into true crime. This does not focus on the perpetrator.

And there's a lot that needs to be said and a lot that's unknown about them. So by talking

to people who've directly been impacted, I felt that that was an important niche to fill.

Did you find there was a lot more people out there with this than you expected?

I found that people were generous in their disclosures, that person A would tell person B,

and then they would come to me and ask to be on the show.

It was kind of like a network that I tapped into.

They were a little hesitant at first, but when the word spread that I was not there to exploit them, I was there to support them, then they came forward.

And it was very gratifying because they were trusting me with very vulnerable memories and
