I think the obvious reason is it's fact that people want a better life and they inspire people to believe that it can build.

You know, they provide it they hope that investors can come into a lot of the countries and find

innovation to invest it.

But entrepreneurs are quickly demanding more from tech hubs.

A laptop with an internet connection is no longer enough.

Just saying that, oh, hey, I have an office space for you.

I'm going to take you through mentoring.

Or here, I'm going to take you through training.

Most of these things, honestly, today you can find on YouTube.

You know, you can learn online.

And I feel that the resources that these hubs are pulling in are better spent elsewhere.

The number of active tech hubs in Africa has grown by nearly 50% over the last year.

We're talking co-working spaces, incubators, innovation hubs, accelerators, spaces to develop ideas or grow businesses.

And it's this so-called disruptive innovation that's transforming Africa's economic potential.

It began over a decade ago with the likes of Kenya's groundbreaking mobile money transfer service M-Pesa.

Since then, we've seen technological solutions to do with agriculture, healthcare, education,

transport, apps and ideas providing answers to a myriad of problems, like Nigeria's fintech

startup, Flutter Wave.
