It's another day and another disappointment from the leader of the free world.

I'm sorry to tell you.

President Joe Biden last night blamed everyone aside from himself in an address from the White House

as Afghanistan falls further into the grip of the Taliban and Koreans hopelessly back to the Middle Ages.

As the scenes from Kabul Airport yesterday proved,

there are thousands of Afghan nationals who are desperate to leave the country

before it was turned into an Islamic state ruled by Sharia law,

where universities are closed, where women aren't allowed out on the streets,

and dissenters are executed.

You saw people clinging on to the wings of aircraft.

You saw people clinging on to the wheels of an aircraft as it was taking off yesterday from Kabul Airport.

Thousands of people running headlong four planes trying to get on them,

trying to get desperately get away from what is bound to be carnage,

as it's been described this morning in many of the newspapers.

Make no mistake, ladies and gentlemen, this new version of the Taliban is no better than the last one.

And many believe it may actually be worse.

Better equipped, better trained, better financed than anything than the West can offer.

But no less bloodthirsty and no less fascist either.
