Two years, less a few weeks, evacuation of Cabal on worldwide television, panic, crisis,

death, confusion, blame, two years, less a few weeks later, we have a headline and a story

from London. An Afghan judge who adjudicated cases involving the Taliban and crimes such as murder

and kidnapping has been granted permission to enter the United Kingdom after a two-year legal

battle with the Home Office. Known as Yosra to protect your identity, the judge has been hiding

in Pakistan after the Home Office initially refused to allow her and her son entered the UK.

I mention this as I welcome Bill Rajo, the senior fellow of the Foundation for the Defensive

Democracies, who keeps the Long-Ware Journal because Yosra, I wish her well, she's now traveling

to the UK or near too, according to the London Times. Yosra is one version of many people

who are gravely at risk and remain so two years less a few weeks later. We can only guess

how many are waiting for the U.S. to permit them to enter the country.

Hiding in Pakistan, hiding in India, just generally hiding from the revenge of the Taliban.

Bill, a very good evening to you. I know that you and colleagues got involved in helping people

move along to leave Afghanistan after the U.S. left that day in August.

Is it generally true that that will go on for years? What is your sense of those volunteer

efforts to get people out? Yes, John. Been good evening for every Yosra. There's thousands

of Afghans who have helped the U.S. who have stood up against the Taliban who have tried to help an

independent and free Afghanistan grow who are on the run now, who are seeking asylum in the U.S.

and the U.K. and other western countries that promise to support them, but are failing

too. It's a real crime. It's one of the real moral hazards that have come out of this war.
