Hey all, Lauren Ash here. I'd like to start off this quick announcement with an affirmation. So if you feel led to, I invite you to close your eyes.

Now these words came to me this past October in preparation for the five-year

anniversary of Black Grown Oom, which we celebrated in November 2019.

But I've recently realized that there were words that were meant for this moment that

we're all in now. So really settle in, take a breath, perhaps place your hand over your heart or

your hands together at heart center. Notice how you feel in your physical body. Notice how you feel

emotionally and listen or perhaps repeat these words.

The time is ripe for me to expand. I am ready and available for my unfolding.

Divine guidance blesses my path, equips me with love, and orders my steps.

I affirm that I am unconditionally loved and supported in my journey towards liberation.

Within me is everything I need to blossom. I am grateful in advance for what lies ahead.

Take a deep breath in through your nose

and a full exhale out through your mouth.

Another breath in as you notice what's present for you.

And an exhale to release any doubt, fear, or worry. One final deep inhale failing your lungs up with air.
