Good morning.

Good morning to you.

As a very famous Indian saint and poet that lived in the 1600s named Tukaram and one

of my favorite poems of his he said, I cannot lie anymore so I started to call my dog

God.

First he looked confused, then he started smiling, then he even danced.

I kept at it and now he doesn't even bite.

I'm wondering if this might work on people.

Every morning we've been practicing being still in the knowledge that this works on people,

that this works on problems, that this works on the mind, it works on ourselves.

When we can look at every person, every problem, when we can look upon every thought, every

disturbing emotion, our idea, our concept of ourself as God, no matter how ridiculous

it appears on the surface to call it God, no matter how well disguised God is as that

person or problem or emotion, when we still and know it as God, we're climbing the ladder

to soul consciousness, we're climbing that ladder back to ourself, to freedom, to the kingdom.

Rumi said, from the moment of your birth, a ladder was placed before you to help you

escape.

Every person you encounter, every problem you encounter, every emotion you encounter

is a rung on that ladder and you climb it by recognizing that they are God.

Some rungs are easy, a lot of people you encounter, like a piece would say, it's easy for you

to turn them back into God.
