Welcome, everyone to the score fantasy football podcast. I'm your host Justin Boone, and man, do we have a lot to talk about today?

0:20.5

15 games already in the books for week one. So many players that it seems like we were right to value them high and target them in drafts, a bunch of players we might have been overvaluing, but we're going to sort through it all. The next couple of weeks are arguably the most important in the fantasy calendar because we spend all off season projecting what's going to happen,

0:37.8

trying to tell the future, even though the best fantasy analysts out there are only accurate

0:41.9

about 60% of the time. If you have an amazing year, that could get up to around 70%. I've talked

0:47.3

about this in the show before. We even joked about it with Nate Yonkey, a PFF last week.

0:51.6

Him and I have been near the top of the Fantasy Pros accuracy contest a bunch of times.

1:11.6

probabilities trying to put ourselves in the best possible position for our teams to succeed when the

1:16.5

games really matter but inevitably we all get humbled in one way or another in week one and

1:21.5

after seeing some of these results there's plenty of stuff that i feel like i could be off about

1:26.3

but we also can't take this week's action as complete gospel because it's only one week of games.

1:31.8

It's all we have to go on so far.

1:33.9

But we have to apply some context to everything we saw.

1:36.8

So things like injuries and matchups and bad weather, all that stuff factors in.

1:42.2

And that's why I love doing the week one takeaway show each year

1:44.9

and why I've decided to actually make this a two-parter this time around so

1:48.7

normally I won't be doing a Tuesday episode each week during the season but this

1:52.6

week I feel like it's needed so today I'm gonna go over the aFC takeaways as
