Well, that's a good quiz, of course, on wrestling culture. As I said, they're joined by Michael Siddwick, Michael Hanvler, bloody part-time and not here.

No, he's trained strikes and what have you. He is working from home today, but Siddwick, we are here to get your thoughts on AEW Blood and Guts.

What all over the place show this was?

Yeah, I'm looking forward to doing this podcast because I cannot give you a summary. We usually do that first.

I don't know. Elements of this I really enjoyed. Aspects are creeping into this program that fundamentally I don't know if I like.

And then some absolutely incredible things happen. And then some other things get in the way of those incredible things.

I was driven mad by bloodlust. I was entertained by things I principally, on principle, don't agree with.

And at certain points I felt a bit sad.

Well, let's dive into it then because I think I'm in the same position as you as I watched the show.

It ended. I thought, I don't know how I feel about this show. I don't feel angry. I don't feel ecstatic.

But I have fluctuated between those two emotions throughout it.

And I sort of looked online and got a similar response, basically.

I don't think anyone had this as a 10 out of 10.

No. Well, let's start at the beginning of the show. The show opens with Baltimore and I was thinking,

that's weird that they've kept that for Jungle Boy Jack Perry specifically when he said you don't get it anymore.

Yeah, but it was all part of his entrance. Andy told me this morning he saw someone on social media saying,

just a bit of a confusing opening to AWD on him. How is it confusing?

It was literally like, what are they going to do? Who is he burying in the desert? That's the question.
