Tonight was a new era of AEW Dynamite. This was the very first edition of Dynamite here for 2023.

Very hot crowd for their debut in the Seattle market.

But we had a new opening video. We had new graphics. We had new stage.

Entrance tunnels are gone. First real makeover for the show since the show debuted back in 2019.

Unfortunately, same old audio problems.

That hasn't changed. AEW has not seemed to figure out how to get around these audio problems.

John Moxley dropped a couple of f-bombs within a 10 second spant tonight because he was so frustrated.

Because he could not get his mic to work.

But aside from that, all good on the new graphics and everything, I think the set is fine.

It's nothing that we haven't seen before. I think it's good to change things up every now and then.

Yeah, you get bored of the same look.

So fresh coat of paint, brand new year, brand new start.

I like the colors. I told you guys last week. I wanted to wait until this week when I saw what the new color scheme was and everything else.

Everyone was bitching about the colors.

Oh, WWE red and red and blue. Red and blue. I think the red and blue looks great.

I think it looks great. Last night check WWE does not have a trademark on the colors red and blue.

So I think it looks very nice.

But in the main event tonight in Seattle, Darby Allen in his hometown challenged for the TNT championship title that he has held before.

He was challenging the King of Television.

Samoa Joe, who has been on a dominant tear over the last several weeks having a lot of really fun matches on TV.

And he had a really fun one with Darby several weeks ago where he nearly murdered Darby.

I enjoyed that.
