We're delayed in even starting this because I was on a phone call and it's just the way life goes. I made everybody wait and I

I at least am the kind of person to feel bad about that. I was actually thinking about it. You were on the phone with a pretty great source and you had to go. How do you do that? If you are asking someone for information,

like you're the reporter, but you, you know, and they're nice enough to call me back. Right.

Well, I let him, I let him talk for, for a long time and realize that the primary objective of what SMY pays me to do is to have information.

So I prioritized it over the beginning of the podcast, especially because it wasn't live television.

Right.

But at the expense of the convenience of you and the crew that does it, so it's a delicate balancing act. Let me tell you.

Yeah. So today in Metzland, Andy, was Jacob de Grom was on the mound. He didn't pitch

particularly well. Not that that matters much. He's just getting his work in. And I'm sure he's

being hard on himself. And I'm sure that he cares about the results.

But, again, as for pitching and starting pitching in spring training,

I'm not entirely sure how much results matter.

I guess kind of one of these weirdly big themes over the past, I don't know, week has been advisors.

Yeah.

Because, you know, Franco, Leiter, Jessica Mendoza, all hired to be inside the Mets organization.
