you are with me in my little alcove desk and sitting room in Oxford, England, UK. Would

you like an adventure now or would you like to have your tea first? Says Peter Pan written

by Jay and Barry. I just love, love, love this particular quotation because I feel like

my whole life just from a personality point of view is either between tea time or between

an adventure, between tea and adventure. Many of you know that I am almost never without

tea or tea cups that's ready. But for years and some of you have experienced this, I would

like to have a 10 that's a can in America that holds one or two cups of tea, some dark

packets of sugar, a spoon to travel with and tea bags. And because I traveled over the

years and was doing conferences and speaking places and most of the time we traveled as a

family, I always wanted to take a little bit of hospitality and civility wherever I went.

So when I would meet privately with people in my hotel room for counseling or even if

I just had some hidden moments with my children or with clay, I would wrap a page mean scarf

that I had gotten on our speaking tour. I got a number of page mean scarves on my speaking

tour in China and I would kind of lay that out on the table. I got a coffee table in

the hotel room. I would light a tiny little travel candle that always came with me. I would

put on music from my phone connected to a small traveling speaker. I would make tea and I

would serve it in real cups. And voila, I would create a place for personal hospitality and
